I bought this one and the fleece one and I have to say, I've only used this one a few times. It's too thin for the bay area weather. But the fleece one I use everyday.

I love this item. It is so soft and it is not too heavy. I am not worried about my baby overheating in it. You may want a thicker one for a colder climate. We are in AZ. We still use other blankets in the crib on top of this when it is cooler. This just helps keep his little feet and legs warm if he kicks the other covers off. I have a medium and am planning to buy another one when he outgrows this one.
